Pepper & Piano is a British pop duo. It became known for its participation in the first season of the talent show Must Be the Music of the private television channel Sky1 , where it was eliminated in the semifinals.
The duo consists of the singer Katie Pepper and the pianist Emma Alkazraji. Both are from Manchester .
With their single "You Took My Heart" both reached the top ten of the British charts in early September 2010 and number 1 in the British independent charts .
