Pearl ink

Pearl ink is the ancient ink from China . This once high-quality “brown” Chinese “pearl ink” had a real pearl on the richly decorated knob . This was not an elaborate decoration, rather this precious ornament corresponded to the value of this high-quality material. The pearl ink was obtained from camphor oil or other fine and fragrant oils in a very complex manual process .
