Persiraja Banda Aceh is a football club from Bandah Aceh , Indonesia . The club from the semi-autonomous province of Aceh was founded on July 28, 1957 and currently plays in the country's highest league, League 1 . The club plays its home games in the 45,000-seat Harapan Bangsa Stadium .
Since 2020, the club has been playing in the top Indonesian league for the first time, after being able to secure a promotion place in the 2019 season as third-placed in the playoffs of League 2 .
