Personal accounting
Payroll accountant is an independent profession in Austria offering, which after the balance Accounting Act 2014 (BibuG) payroll accounting for companies as a service. The payroll processor is publicly appointed based on a corresponding check by the accounting authorities and is a member of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce / Association of Management Consulting and Information Technology .
In addition to the payroll accounting, the following independent professions are allowed to offer wage accounting in Austria:
- Tax advisor (legal basis: Wirtschaftstreuhandberufsgesetz 2017)
- Auditor (legal basis: Public Accountants Act 2017)
- Accountant (legal basis: Accounting Law 2014)
