Petra Höcker (* 1966 in Osnabrück ) is a German artist.

Life

After working as a freelancer at the Kunsthalle Dominikanerkirche Osnabrück in the area of ​​exhibition conception / project management in 2001/2002, Petra Höcker took part in study seminars with K. Neuper in 2002. The course took place in Nuremberg and lasted until 2005. During this time Petra Höcker worked as a freelance artist . In 2006 she became a member of the European Artists eV. Petra Höcker founded the producer gallery in Osnabrück in 2007 .

The artist lives and works in Osnabrück.

Petra Höcker concentrates on large and small format works in mixed media on canvas . The artist's works are divided into four large series: gray (2008–2011), red (2005–2011; also includes various art objects), black (2010/2011), rainbow (2011). Over the years, Petra Höcker has constantly renewed her series by adding new works to them from time to time. The Grau series, for example, now includes over 40 works.
