Petra Müllner (born December 10, 1980 in Wels ) is an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ). She has been a member of the Upper Austrian State Parliament since 2009 . She is the area spokesperson for family, children, youth and alternative culture.

education

Between 1987 and 1991, Müllner attended elementary school 2, Rainerstraße, in Wels and then from 1991 to 1995 the private secondary school for girls run by the Wels school sisters. From 1995 to 2000, Müllner graduated from the public educational institution for kindergarten pedagogy in Linz. From September 2000 until she was on maternity leave, Müllner was employed as a day care teacher in a municipal day care center for the city of Wels. From 2012 to 2018, the politician completed a distance learning course on health and social management.

Political career

Müllner joined the SPÖ in 2001 and was chairwoman of the Socialist Youth Wels from 2001 to 2007. She has been a member of the SPÖ state party executive since 2006, and she also represented the SPÖ on the Wels municipal council from 2003 to 2009.

Müllner was also a member of the state and national executive boards of the young generation and deputy chairwoman of the Wels-Mitte / Bahnhofsviertel section. Müllner was sworn in as a member of the Upper Austrian state parliament on October 23, 2009. From 2010 to 2013 she was President of FC Wels Ladies. She was a member of the ASKÖ OÖ Presidium from 2009 to 2014. Müllner is the regional chairwoman of Kinderfreunde Upper Austria in Wels-Hausruck.

Personal

Müllner is married and has two children.
