Petras Giniotas

Petras Giniotas (born December 2, 1952 in Medikiai , Klaipėda district ) is a Lithuanian politician.

Life

In 1971 he graduated from Gargždai Middle School and served in the Soviet Army until 1973. From 1974 to 1976 he worked in the Klaipėda shipbuilding company . From 1976 to 1990 he was a chauffeur at the mechanization office in Klaipėda. From 1989 to 1991 he was the head of the Workers' Union ( Klaipėdos miesto darbininkų sąjunga ). He was a member of Sąjūdis . From 1990 to 1996 he was a member of the Seimas . From 1996 he studied at the Faculty of Environmental Engineering of Vilniaus Gedimino technikos universitetas and from 1997 he was a member of the Klaipėda City Council. From 1999 he worked for AB "Klaipėdos jūrų krovinių kompanija".
