Pfahlheimer Bauernstube

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Pfahlheimer Bauernstube is the smallest museum in the Ostalb district and is run by the Catholic parish of St. Nikolaus.

The history, economy and culture of the once purely rural community of Pfahlheim , now a district of Ellwangen , are brought to life in the local museum.

Costumes, cupboards and chests, all compiled and collected by the former pastor Eugen Adis (pastor from 1910 to 1938 in Pfahlheim), are on display. But everyday objects and household items can also be found.
