The Roman Catholic parish church Hohenwarth stands on a step to the northeast above the town of Hohenwarth in the market town of Hohenwarth-Mühlbach am Manhartsberg in the Hollabrunn district in Lower Austria . The church consecrated to the holy Archangel Michael belongs to the deanery Sitzendorf in the vicariate Unter dem Manhartsberg of the archdiocese of Vienna . The church building is a listed building .

The essentially Romanesque church building with a Gothic west tower and a Gothic choir and a baroque nave is surrounded by a cemetery with a cemetery wall and is connected to the village via a covered church staircase.
