Horse & hunt
The Horse & Hunt is Europe's largest exhibition for riding, hunting and fishing. It takes place once a year at the beginning of December at the Hanover Exhibition Center and lasts four days. At the trade fair event, over 900 exhibitors present innovations and trends from the fields of riding, hunting and fishing on around 90,000 m² of exhibition space. The exhibition is visited by around 100,000 people. The trade fair is organized by Heckmann Trade Fairs .
founding
In 1981 Fachausstellungen Heckmann GmbH took over the international indoor equestrian tournament from Deutsche Messe AG, which was coupled with a small exhibition. At that time there were 150 exhibitors and 16,640 visitors. 15,000 m² of hall space was rented. Over the years, the riding demonstrations have become more and more popular. The show arena got its own hall so that the grandstand could be increased to 4000 seats. Since 1994 the "Night of the Horses" has been taking place with international stars of the horse show scene.
horse
Around 500 exhibitors come from the horse sector with the latest products, instructors give live lessons in all riding styles, experts provide information on posture and health issues. In the show arena in hall 25 there are also daily competitions, cups and demonstrations with international riding stars. The product range includes a. Barn equipment, feed, clothing, equipment, saddles, obstacles, fences and horse transporters.
hunt
330 exhibitors provide information on hunting rifles, high seats, equipment, ammunition and off-road vehicles. The Lower Saxony State Hunting Association prepares a different topic for the fair every year. There are demonstrations by falconers , dog breeders and appearances by hunting blowers groups. Also represented are the Association of German Gunsmiths and the Association of Manufacturers of Hunting, Sporting Arms and Ammunition.
Fishing fair Hanover
The angling fair in Hall 19 presents a wide range of products for amateur anglers and sport fishermen on an area of 3000 square meters. In the fishing forum, visitors get tips and information from well-known team anglers. The Lower Saxony State Sport Fishing Association and the Hanover Fishing Association also present themselves and their work at the angling fair.
Country
The "Country" exhibition area is dedicated to the presentation of country living, hunting ambience and riding culture. First held in 2003, the Country has become a permanent feature of the exhibition.
Night of the horses
The Horse Night is an integral part of Horse & Hunt and takes place in the evenings on the Friday and Saturday of the fair. The night of the horses is a gala with internationally known stars of the show rider scene.
MiMaMo
Similar to the Night of the Horses, MiMaMo is a large horse gala show, but its content is more geared towards children and families. It takes place on Saturday and Sunday afternoons on the weekend of the fair. At MiMaMo, in addition to internationally known stars of the show rider scene, young talents and children also perform.
