Example of a pharma code

The Pharmacode is a barcode standard that was significantly positioned in the market by the Laetus company. It is used in the pharmaceutical industry to control packaging, e.g. B. to check the presence of leaflets . The good readability, even with insufficient pressure, enables a very high reading speed with few incorrect readings. In contrast to other types of barcodes, parts of the pharmaceutical code can be printed in different colors. The Pharmacode can only encode integers from 3 to 131070. It is not to be confused with the PZN , the Italian Pharmacode or the Swiss Pharmacode , which represent identification keys or article numbers for drugs in the form of a Code39 or one of its modifications.
