Photogrammeter

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A photogrammeter is skilled in photogrammetry . Its tasks are the measurement of small objects, buildings or landscapes. The photogrammeter profession is usually learned in Germany either by studying geodesy or surveying at a university or technical college. Photogrammeters are therefore among the engineers. A lateral entry after studying physics or electrical engineering is not uncommon.

The photogrammeters are organized in the professional association of the German Society for Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and Geoinformation (DGPF) .
