Photovoltaik is a monthly trade magazine on the subject of photovoltaics . The trade journal provides information on photovoltaics in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and neighboring European countries. The magazine is aimed at plumbers, system planners, architects, dealers, financiers and decision-makers in municipal utilities or municipal administrations. The focus is on the technological trends in the photovoltaic business, funding programs, new products, services and financing models, as well as tips on planning, installing and insuring solar power systems. One focus is on the use of solar power by private households, businesses, industry and municipal users.

history

The Photovoltaik Magazin was founded in 2007 by the publishing association Alfons W. Gentner Verlag GmbH & Co. KG / Solarpraxis AG. The first issue was published in June 2007 at the Intersolar solar technology trade fair in Freiburg. The magazine has been published monthly since August 2007. The editorial office is based in Berlin.

Since April 2013 the magazine and the online platform www.photovoltaik.eu has been published under the sole responsibility of Alfons W. Gentner Verlag in Stuttgart. The Gentner Publishing Group is a specialist media company in the building services sector. The focus is on sanitary and heating technology, refrigeration and air conditioning technology, glass and electrical and safety technology, as well as occupational and medical examination in the field of medicine.

The photovoltaic magazine is not available in newsagents because it is not aimed at end customers (private individuals). The target group are companies from the photovoltaic industry ( business-to-business magazine). You get the magazine through a subscription.
