Picfair Village is a residential district in western Los Angeles , California .

Picfair Village is bounded by Pico Boulevard to the north, Hauser Boulevard to the east, Venice Boulevard to the south and Fairfax Avenue to the west.

Demographics

In 2000 Picfair Village had 50% black people, 25% Latinos, 20% white non-Hispanics and 5% Pacific islanders.

history

The name Picfair Village comes from the Picfair cinema, which stood on the corner of Pico and Fairfax and was destroyed during the 1992 riots in Los Angeles .
