Pierre Gendron

Pierre Gendron (* 1952 in Grand-mère , Québec) is a Canadian film producer .

Gendron has been a film producer since 1984. He founded various production houses, including Bloom Films and Zoofilms .

His Jesus of Montreal was nominated for an Oscar in 1990 for best foreign language film . For this film, he was also honored together with the rest of the production team in two categories at the Genie Awards in 1990. Two years earlier he had already received a genius award for Night Zoo . A Golden Reel Award followed in 2008.
