Piknik ( Russian Пикник ) is a rock group from Russia .
history
The group was founded in Leningrad in September 1978 under the name Orion. In 1981 it was renamed Piknik. In the spring of 1982 the group won a prize at the first rock festival in Leningrad, but the breakthrough came with the release of the album "Дым" . Edmund Schkljarski has been leading the group since 1978, writing all the lyrics and melodies.
