Mushroom culture

Fungal culture refers to the targeted reproduction of mushrooms or the resulting fungi, for example:

  • microscopic fungi that are cultivated in a nutrient medium (microbiology and medicine)
  • Cultivation of edible mushrooms ("cultivated mushrooms"), see mushroom cultivation
  • the cultivation of noble mold species for cheese production, see mold cheese
