The Pima Air & Space Museum ( PASM for short ) is located in southeast Tucson , Arizona , USA at the southern end of the runway of Davis-Monthan Air Force Base .

Around 300, almost exclusively military aircraft are exhibited on an area of around 320,000 m²; these are distributed on the one hand in a number of hangars and similar exhibition halls, on the other hand in the extensive outdoor area. Adjacent to the north are Davis-Monthan Air Force Base and the 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group ( AMARG for short ) with its several thousand stored military aircraft; these facilities are not part of the PASM.

Exhibits

The list of aircraft on display is very extensive with around 300; some of them are the last surviving copies, rarely also unique. Due to the intense solar radiation in the south of Arizona, sun-related weathering of paintwork, plastics and rubber is to be expected, especially in the outdoor exhibits.

AMARG tours

The PASM is the point of contact and organizer for visitor tours across the AMARG site.
