Tweezer handle

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Tweezer grip is grasping objects with the fingertips (and not the fingertips) of the thumb and forefinger . By squeezing these two fingers together like a pair of tweezers , small objects can also be held.

Infants usually learn this movement at the age of 8 to 14 months, the median is 9 months.

The monkey handle and the scissor handle are usually learned as the first handles - i.e. before the tweezers handle . The pincer grip is usually followed by the pincer grip .
