On May 31, 2006, as part of the police action against The Pirate Bay , the servers of Piratbyrån were also confiscated. The seizure was followed by a demonstration in Stockholm on June 3, at which representatives of the Piratbyrån and other organizations, as well as political parties, gave speeches primarily directed against the Swedish government.
