The Pitcairn PCA-2 was a three-seat gyroplane designed by the American designer Harold Frederick Pitcairn .

history

Harold Pitcairn bought a gyroplane from Juan de la Cierva in the late 1920s and then founded the Pitcairn-Cierva Autogiro Company to produce its own gyroplane models. The inventor Harold Pitcairn landed one of these aircraft in front of the White House lawn in Washington, DC in 1931 for an award
