Pitch Yarn of Matter

Pitch Yarn Of Matter (PYM) was a synth-pop project by the Brazilian musician Marcelo Gallo , which released two studio albums and several compilation tracks in the 1990s.

During a tour of the German band Second Decay in 1994, Michael Budde, owner of the Subtronic label , invited Pitch Yarn Of Matter to record the first studio album in Subtronic's studio in Germany. This made Pitch Yarn Of Matter the first Brazilian synth-pop duo to gain international fame. In 1996 Marcelo Gallo decided to put the project Pitch Yarn Of Matter on hold in order to be able to concentrate on his new project Nude .

Pitch Yarn Of Matter influences included Gary Numan , Depeche Mode , Ultravox and others.
