Platea
Platea ( Greek Πλατέα) is an island described by Herodotus in his Historien (IV 151), which is off the coast of Cyrenaica . She served around 630 BC. Chr. Greek colonists from Thera (now Santorini ) as a stopover to the founding of Cyrene .
