Plate (dinnerware)
A plate (also: serving plate , serving plate ) is a flat, plate- like base made of porcelain , metal , glass or the like of various sizes and shapes for serving food.
The primary purpose of the serving plates is the presentation and presentation of solid meals, usually for several people who use or are served from the plate.
There are various shapes for different dishes. They are usually larger than a typical dinner plate and often have a narrower rim.
