Wooden house in Playa Baracoa

Playa Baracoa belongs to the Cuban community of Bauta ( Artemisa province ) west of Havana . Not to be confused with the distant Baracoa in the east of the island of Cuba.

Between 1930 and 1940 wealthy people from the capital Havana, 20 km away, built their summer houses there. Many of these wooden houses can still be seen today and some are still used as summer houses.
