Plazoleta de la Contraescarpa

The Plazoleta de la Contraescarpa is a square in the Uruguayan capital Montevideo .

It is located on the corner of Reconquista / Juan Carlos Gómez on the block to the north of Plaza España, adjacent to Ciudad Vieja . It was created in 1984 with the assistance of the architects Francisco Bonilla and Carlos Pascual and the Comisión Especial Permanente de Ciudad Vieja of the Intendencia Municipal of Montevideo . The floor area is 191 m².
