Plonsters is a clay animation children's television series that features three clay characters (blue (gray in earlier episodes), green and orange). You can transform yourself into any shape you want, such as animals or vehicles. The Plonsters speak their own (incomprehensible) language. The blue and the green try to annoy the orange, who then defends himself. However, the three always agree in the end.

The series was produced between 1987 and 1997 by Anima Studio für Film & Grafik GmbH in Hamburg and Bettina Matthaei for Egmont Imagination .

The Plonsters were shown in Sesame Street , among other places , and can be seen as a video-on-demand offer on the children's portal Mobichi . The series (directed by Alexander Zapletal ) contains 52 episodes of 3 minutes each. It was broadcast on television in more than 30 countries around the world and released on DVD in Germany, Australia, Russia, Poland, the Czech Republic and Switzerland.
