Takashi Miyazawa ( Japanese 宮 澤 崇 史 , Miyazawa Takashi ; born February 27, 1978 in Nagano , Nagano Prefecture ) is a former Japanese cyclist .

Career

Miyazawa began his career in 2003 with the Bridgestone-Anchor cycling team . During his career he won various road bike races on the international calendar, including twice the overall ranking of the Tour de Hokkaidō . In 2007 he was Asian and 2010 Japanese road champion. Miyazaw represented his country at the 2008 Summer Olympics and finished 85th in the road race. In 2011 he drove for the Italian Professional Continental Team Farnese Vini-Neri Sottoli and achieved fifth place in Paris-Brussels , a one-day race in the hors category, his best placement in an important race on the European calendar. In 2012 and 2013 he drove for the Danish ProTeam Saxo-Tinkoff . He ended his career at the end of the 2014 season.
