Jun'ya Sano ( Japanese 佐野 淳 哉 , Sano Jun'ya ; born January 9 or November 3, 1982 in Shimizu , Shizuoka Prefecture ) is a Japanese road cyclist.

Jun'ya Sano began his career in 2005 with the Japanese Continental Team Bridgestone-Anchor . In the 2008 season he moved to the Nippo-Endeka team , where he finished fourth in the national championship. The next year Sano drove for the amateur team Team Nippo · Colnago. At the Asian Championships in 2009 in Tenggarong , Indonesia , he was sixth in the individual time trial and fifth in the road race. In 2010 he drove with Team Nippo , where he won the second stage of the Tour de Kumano.

In 2011, Sano won a stage of the Tour de Hokkaidō , in 2014 he was Japanese road racing champion.
