Yūsuke Hatanaka ( Japanese 畑 中 勇 介 , Hatanaka Yūsuke ; born June 21, 1985 ) is a Japanese cyclist .

Hatanaka became the Japanese time trial runner-up in 2005. The following year he was third in the time trial championship. At the end of the season he took part in the U23 road race at the 2006 road cycling world championships in Salzburg and came last. Also in 2007 he was in Stuttgart , where he finished 89th. From 2008 Hatanaka drove for the Dutch-Japanese Professional Continental Team Skil-Shimano . In his first season there, he won the seventh and final stage of the Jelajah Malaysia .

In 2011 Hatanaka won a stage of the Tour de Okinawa . In 2017 he was Japanese road racing champion and Asian team time trial champion in 2018 .
