The Ukyo team is a Japanese motor sport - and since 2012 also a cycling team based in Tokyo in the Shibuya district .

history

The team was founded in 2001 by Formula 1 driver Ukyō Katayama to take part in the Japanese Super GT Championship. Since 2011 it has been participating in the Super GT together with Good Smile Company's team study GLAD Racing as a GSR & study with TeamUKYO with a Miku-Hatsune - BMW Z4 .

In 2010, Ukyō Katayama cooperated with the cycling team Utsunomiya Blitzen and in 2012 registered Team Ukyo as a Continental team that participates in the UCI Continental Circuits . Katayama acts as manager, who is supported by the sporting directors Shuichi Inoue, Yūsuke Numazawa, Jesús Rodríguez and Tadahiko Kuwabara.
