BMW Z4

The Z4 is a roadster series introduced in autumn 2002 by the German car manufacturer BMW , which replaced the Z3 . From spring 2006 until the second generation, the Z4 was also available as a coupe.

  • The first generation has the internal name BMW E85
  • The second generation with the internal name BMW E89 came onto the market in spring 2009.
    • Production in Germany was officially discontinued on August 22, 2016.
  • The third generation has the internal designation BMW G29 .

Registration numbers

Between 2003 and 2019, 71,442 BMW Z4s were newly registered in the Federal Republic of Germany. 2003 was the most successful sales year with 11,617 units.
