The BMW Sauber F1.08 is the third and thus penultimate Formula 1 - racing cars of BMW Sauber F1 . The Monoposto designed by Willy Rampf took part in all 18 races of the 2008 Formula 1 World Championship and was driven by Nick Heidfeld from Germany and Robert Kubica from Poland .
After a successful start to the season, with three podiums and one pole position from the first three races, the team celebrated a historic double victory in round 7: Robert Kubica won the Canadian Grand Prix ahead of his teammate Nick Heidfeld. It was the first and only Grand Prix victory for the BMW Sauber F1 Team, which finished third in the 2008 constructors' championship with 135 points.
