The Honda RA108 was the twelfth and last Formula 1 - racing cars from Honda . The car, designed by Loïc Bigois and Jörg Zander , took part in all 18 races of the 2008 Formula 1 season , was driven by the Briton Jenson Button and the Brazilian Rubens Barrichello and achieved third place - giving the team 14 points in the constructors' championship finished ninth out of eleven. The V8 engine used was the RA808E , which with a weight of 95 kg achieved an output of 747 bhp at 19,000 rpm. The service life of the unit was given as 1350 km.
