F52 is the factory-internal designation of a sedan of the BMW 1 series .
history
The vehicle is being built in China by BMW Brilliance Automotive and made its formal debut at the Guangzhou Auto Show 2016. The sedan has been at Chinese dealerships since February 27, 2017. In contrast to the rear-wheel drive hatchback model F20, which is also available in Europe, the F52, like the second generation of the X1, is based on the BMW UKL2 platform and is therefore offered with front-wheel drive as standard . The F52 has also been available in Mexico since mid-2018.
Technical specifications
Only gasoline engines are offered for the Chinese market . These are also used in the X1 or the 2 Active Tourer .
