technology

315 engine

The 315 differed from the previous 303 only through the larger motor, a series of six cylindrical with two Solex - flat gasifiers and 1490 cc displacement, the min at 4000 -1 issued a power of 34 HP (25 kW). The engine had overhead valves that were controlled via bumpers and rocker arms from a side camshaft driven by a duplex chain . The engine power was transmitted to the rear wheels via a four-speed gearbox with center shift and a cardan shaft . The top speed of the car was 100 km / h. The third and fourth gears of the transmission were synchronized .

The chassis and brakes corresponded to those of the predecessor: the front wheels were suspended from wishbones at the bottom and a transverse leaf spring at the top. The rigid rear axle hung on semi-elliptical longitudinal leaf springs. The drum brakes on all four wheels were operated with a cable.

There was a larger selection of bodies than the 303. The touring car cost RM 4100, the sedan RM 3750 and the convertible RM 3950. There was also a 4-seater convertible for RM 4400, - and a 2-seater sports convertible for RM 4750, -.
