The BMW GINA Light Vision is a concept vehicle from BMW with an outer skin made of flexible fabric . The two-seater was presented to the public for the reopening of the BMW Museum in June 2008. GINA stands for geometry and functions in N-fold forms .

Due to the elasticity of the fabric and skin , for example , this automobile has no joints on the sides of the hinges of its two doors . The surface adapts to the articulated substructure, which in turn adapts to the respective requirements. Depending on the speed , a spoiler can be modeled, and when getting in or out, the driver's seat and steering wheel move apart to give more space.

Chris Bangle played a leading role in the design .
