history

The BMW 329 was only available as a convertible from 1936 as an inexpensive addition to the BMW 326 touring sedan . 1011 vehicles were built as BMW convertibles, four-seater , 42 two-seater with the designation Drauz Cabriolet, two-seater, and a further 126 units were bodied at the Drauz works in Heilbronn . In February 1937, BMW exhibited a Drauz convertible with cowhide upholstery at the International Automobile and Motorcycle Show (IAMA) . The price for the four-seater convertible "329" was given in April 1937 as RM 4950.00. The 320 model replaced the 329 as early as 1937 .
