UCI Asia Tour 2014

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The UCI Asia Tour 2014 is the tenth season of the Asian road cycling calendar introduced by the World Cycling Association Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) for the 2005 season below the UCI WorldTour , which is part of the UCI Continental Circuits . The season starts on October 1, 2013 and ends on December 31, 2014.

The one-day races and stage races of the UCI Asia Tour are divided into three categories (HC, 1 and 2). In each race, points are awarded for an overall ranking of drivers, teams and nations. At this team standings take Professional Continental teams and the Continental teams participate. Only the nations of the continent take part in the nation ranking, but the results of all circuits are counted. ProTeams can also take part in the individual races, but the positions achieved by ProTeam drivers are not taken into account for the rankings.
