Nariyuki Masuda ( Japanese 増 田 成 幸 , Masuda Nariyuki ; born October 23, 1983 in Sendai ) is a Japanese cyclist .

Career

Nariyuki Masuda finished second in the national road race in 2012. In 2013 he moved to the Italian UCI WorldTeam Cannondale . Due to the merger of the team with Garmin-Sharp , he had to look for a new team. Masuda went back to Utsunomiya Blitzen , where he had been from 2011 to 2012. In 2014 he won the Tour de Okinawa . Added to this is a tenth place overall in the Tour of Japan . In 2015 he reached second place in the national championships in the individual time trial and third in road racing. In 2016 he made an all-round blow at the Tour de Hokkaidō : He won the overall classification, the mountain classification and a stage. At the Asian Cycling Championships 2017 he was part of the team that won silver in the team time trial.
