Boris Ruslanowitsch Schpilewski ( Russian Борис Русланович Шпилевский ; born August 20, 1982 in Moscow ) is a former Russian cyclist .

Athletic career

Boris Schpilewski won two stages at the Grand Prix Tell in 2003 and one at the Triptyque des Barrages , where he also came second overall. In the 2006 season he was successful on a section of the Giro del Friuli and also won the overall ranking. From 2007 Shpilewskij drove for the Italian Continental Team Kio Ene-Tonazzi-DMT . At the Flèche du Sud he was successful on two stages and successful in the overall standings. A week later he won the Spanish one-day race Clásica Memorial Txuma .

In 2008 and 2009 Schpilewski was particularly successful at the Tour of Hainan : In 2008 he won six stages and the overall standings, and four stages the following year. In 2011 he won the Tour of Taihu and in 2014 the Tour of China II. In 2015 he ended his cycling career.
