The 1st Dubai Tour 2014 was the first edition of this stage race . Overall winner was Taylor Phinney . He won the opening time trial and the overall standings, while Marcel Kittel won the following three stages.

The first edition of the tour started with a ten-kilometer individual time trial through the city of Dubai , where the following three stages were also started.
