Dmitri Grusdew (Kazakh-Cyrillic Дмитрий Груздев ; born March 13, 1986 in Astana ) is a Kazakh cyclist .

Athletic career

Dmitri Grusdew began his career in 2006 with the Kazakh Continental Team Capec . At the Asian Games in Doha in 2006 , he won the gold medal in the team time trial ahead of Iran and the Japanese with his compatriots Andrei Misurow , Ilja Tschernyschow and Alexander Dymowskich , all of whom were under contract with the same team. In 2011, 2012 and 2014 he was Asian champion in the individual time trial . 2011 and 2012 was Kazakh champion in the individual time trial. His greatest international success in stage races to date was the overall victory of the Tour of Hainan 2012 .

By 2017 Grusdew was three times Asian champion: 2014 in the team time trial, 2017 in the team and individual time trial, and in 2018 again in the team time trial . In 2019 he became Asian time trial champion.
