Ilja Tschernyschow (Kazakh-Cyrillic spelling Илья Чернышов , also Ilya Chernyshov ; born September 6, 1985 in Pavlodar ) is a former Kazakh cyclist .

Athletic career

In 2004 Ilya Tschernyschow started at the Olympic Games in Athens in a two-man team and together with his partner Juri Juda finished twelfth.

In 2005 and 2006 Tschernyschow drove for the Kazakh Continental Team Capec . In his second year he won the tour of Egypt . At the Asian Games in 2006, he finished fifth in the road race; on the track he won silver with Alexei Ljalko in the two-man team and bronze in the points race . The competition of the team time trial , he won with his compatriots, who were all at the Kazakh cycling team CAPEC under contract.
