Tour of Oman

The Tour of Oman is a cycling race in Oman and part of the UCI Asia Tour , in which it is classified in category 2.1. For the first time, the Tour of Oman was held between February 14th and 19th, 2010 and comprised 6 stages. Similar to the Tour of Qatar , the flat stages with mostly strong desert winds are characteristic of this tour, which is very attractive for sprinter teams in the early season.

For 2020 the tour was canceled due to the death of the head of state Qabuz ibn Said .
