Hugh Carthy (born July 9, 1994 in Fulwood , Sheffield ) is a British cyclist.

Athletic career

In 2013 Hugh Carthy received his first contract with a UCI Continental team . The following year he won the Tour de Korea . In 2016 he was the first Briton to win the Tour of Asturias, which has been held since 1925 . In the same year he started a big tour for the first time and finished 125th overall at the Vuelta a España .

In 2019 Carthy was third in the youngsters' classification at the Giro d'Italia .
