Kristian House (born October 6, 1979 in Bournemouth ) is a retired British cyclist .

Athletic career

Kristian House won the seventh stage of the Herald Sun Tour in 2003 . In 2003 he won one stage each of the Tour de Bretagne and the Tour of Southland as well as the overall ranking of An Post Rás .

House became British Road Champion in 2009 after finishing in the top five six times earlier. He left Chris Froome , among others , who was fourth. In 2010 he won a stage of the Tour of Japan and in 2011 the overall ranking of the Tour of South Africa . He was able to record further stage victories by 2017. At the end of this season he ended his cycling career.

Honors

In 2014 House was awarded the highest award in the City of London , the Freedom of the City .
