Malcolm Elliott (born July 1, 1961 in Sheffield ) is a retired British cyclist and current sports director of a cycling team .

Malcolm Elliott began his career in 1984 with the British cycling team TI-Tower Housewares-Royale . In his first year he won two stages in the Milk Race . In the next two years he won two stages there again. In 1987 he was even successful five times and won the overall ranking. Also in the years 1988 to 1990 he was again successful in the tour, which has now been renamed the Tour of Britain . He also won the points classification at the Vuelta a España . In 1993 he was British Champion and won the Atlanta Grand Prix as well as in 1994. In 1997 he ended his career until he started cycling again in 2003. He won the Havant International Grand Prix in his first year after the break . In 2004 he secured two parts with FBD Insurance Rás and in 2005 he was once successful and finished second overall. In the 2007 season, Elliott won the Rutland-Melton Cicle Classic at the age of 45. During the 2011 season he ended his career and became sporting director at Motorpoint (current name: Node 4-Giordana Racing ).
