Rutland-Melton International CiCLE Classic

The Rutland-Melton International CiCLE Classic (also East Midland Classic ) is a British road bike race.

The race was held for the first time in 2005 and has been held annually at the end of April since then. The start is in Oakham and the finish is in Melton Mowbray in the East Midlands . The race is characterized by its off-road sections and the short, crisp climbs, similar to Paris – Roubaix or the Ronde van Vlaanderen . The one-day race has been part of the UCI Europe Tour since 2005 and is classified in category 1.2. So far, no driver has been able to win the race twice.
