Óscar Pujol Muñoz (born October 16, 1983 in Terrassa ) is a former Spanish cyclist .

Athletic career

In 2007 Óscar Pujol won a stage of the Vuelta a Navarra , in 2010 he started at the Vuelta a España and finished 66th in the overall standings; In the same year, he won the mountain classification of Around Cologne . In 2013 Pujol was champion of Castile and León and Madrid in cyclo-cross races .

Pujol was particularly successful in road races in Asia: He won the Tour de Singkarak in 2012 , and a stage of this tour in 2014. In 2016 and 2017 he was the winner of the Tour of Japan , and in 2016 the Tour de Kumano .

Professional

In 2018, Pujol started working as a moderator for the Global Cycling Network , an internet channel for cycling fans, which this year introduced Spanish as an additional language in its program.
